Men's Swimming and Diving Place 18th at NCAA Championships

The NCAA Men's Swimming Championships ended with the Sun Devils placed 18th overall with a final score of 51 at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash. Senior C.J. Nuess capping his career with a ninth place finish in the 1,650 freestyle. Junior Micky Benedetti also had a successful day on the platform, finishing ninth overall.

Nuess clocked in a time of 14:59.12 to place ninth overall in the 1,650 free. Nuess currently holds ASU's third-fastest time in the event with a 14:55.84.

Benedetti scored 396.95 on the platform to place ninth overall. Benedetti qualified for the consolation final with a dive of 364.20.
